In 2021 I completed Lagree Fitness Certification and began coaching at Third Eye Tribe, a Lagree studio in Atlanta, GA. Lagree (often compared to Pilates) is a high-intensity, low-impact muscular endurance workout effectively combining strength, cardio, endurance, core, balance and flexibility. The exercise is done on the Megaformer Machine, using a spring-weighted carriage and resistance cables.
Simply put, "Lagree is Pilates on steroids." It's intense and effective, but modifiable.
In 2014 took a leap (pun intended) to transition 20+ years of dance training into the fitness industry with Pink Barre Studios, a boutique barre fitness studio in Atlanta, GA. Barre fitness combines elements of ballet, yoga and Pilates into a 55 minute full-body exercise. I teach a classic barre format, plus a cardio fusion, promising to elevate your heart rate and mood! My classes are known to be challenging and high-energy with a motivating EDM/Hip-Hop playlist. In nearly 9 years I have taught more than 1,500 classes, never teaching the same class twice.
Outside of in-studio classes, Pink Barre provided me the opportunity to connect with the Atlanta community in a unique way:
Direct sponsorship opportunities with community partners, including Junior League of Atlanta, Winship Cancer Institute, Susan G. Komen, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Coordinated and hosted private and corporate classes to engage new business outside of regular clientele
Host community classes in unexpected venues, like a rooftop pool deck and 5k race starting line
In July 2024, I made the decision to step away from the barre and dedicate my fitness training to a singular method.
